Paikan Barasta High School is a co-educational secondary school.Established day 1962,index C2-258. PBHS The name itself is a talisman, not only in the town, but in the whole state as well. We cordially welcome you to our holy shrine.

In 1903, when this institution was established, it was the time of “Reformation movement”, so the vision, culture, philosophy of the time had deeply infiltrated into the foundation of this institution.
If we look back to the academic performance and the overall growth of this institution, it can be comprehended that it’s still carrying the flag of premiership.
I feel myself extremely lucky as well as proud to be the successor of so many eminent personalities who served this institution as Headmaster,assistant Headmaster or teachers, who were mentors rather than instructors.
Discover Academic Excellence at Our School Library: Nestled within a spacious 180 square meter area, our library provides a serene environment conducive to learning. It comprises a tranquil Reading Room and some Rare Book Sections, offering a total of approximately 5000+ books.
Promoting Health and Wellness on Campus: In our commitment to ensuring the well-being of our students and faculty, our college provides essential healthcare facilities within reach. While we maintain a Sick Room on campus for minor health concerns, our priority is swift and efficient response to medical emergencies. For this reason, in cases requiring urgent medical attention, individuals are promptly escorted to the nearby Falta & Burul Primary Health Centre, conveniently located just 0.6 kilometers away from the school premises.
Use of technologies for academic and administrative development and introduction of E-Governance have been major implementations of the college. Technological advancement and innovations in academic area have been undertaken by the college. Currently there are 15 smart and ICT based classrooms functioning in the institution. All the laboratory, library and classrooms are ICT enabled.
